I've gotta be honest: I'm still reeling from Dolly Parton's death. And so it was a special kind of balm this week to talk to the Nashville team, a group of City Cast colleagues who know Dolly's history and impact more than most. She lived there since 1964! We dedicated the entire "Word on the Street" segment in today's episode to Dolly and the unique ways Nashville is honoring her contributions. Stick around to the end of the episode for that. Today's Episode

Do you know what kind of surveillance technology is being used in your city? The stuff seems to have become ubiquitous. But not in Nashville. In this week's episode of "Your City Could Be Better", City Cast Nashville host Rachel Iacovone walks us through all the measures that the Nashville government has reviewed and rejected, why people have reason to fear the tech, and what the city may lose by saying no to surveillance.
